This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which reservations at Hotel Golden Place Puri may be cancelled and refunds processed. By making a reservation, you agree to the terms stated below.


2. Cancellation by Guest

A. Standard Rate Bookings

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment provider but typically take 7–14 business days.

  • The hotel is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.


5. Cancellation by Hotel

Hotel Golden Place Puri reserves the right to cancel a booking under the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment or payment failure

  • Invalid booking information

  • Overbooking due to technical errors

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)

In such cases, guests will be offered:

  • An alternative stay (subject to availability), or

  • A full refund of the booking amount


6. Force Majeure

Refunds due to cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control (including natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, or travel restrictions) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.


7. Third-Party Bookings

If you made your reservation through:

  • Online Travel Agencies (OTA) such as MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Goibibo, etc.,

  • Travel agents or other intermediaries

Then cancellations and refunds must be processed according to their respective policies. Guests are advised to contact the respective platform directly.


8. Modification of Bookings

Changes to booking dates or room type:

  • Are subject to availability

  • May result in a rate difference

  • Must be requested prior to check-in
